For larger paintings I tend to use acrylic paint on stretched canvas. I usually work from photographs, which you can send me via email. The clearer and more detailed the images you send me, the better. If you have a few photos and you’re not sure which would work best for a commission, let’s discuss!

If you’re after something more abstract or conceptual, or if there are specific edits you’d like to the photo (e.g. the addition of a pet, or a change to the colour and ‘vibe’ of the painting) then we can discuss and work together so I can create a one-of-a-kind piece that perfectly captures your imagination.

I usually work on standard size canvases (A4, A3, A2, A1, A0 and larger). If you’d like a specific size or shape then just get in touch and I can source a canvas to your specifications. To give an idea of pricing, for larger acrylic paintings I charge a rate of roughly 12p per square cm, but please get in touch via email with an outline of your request for a quote.

The length of time it will take to complete your commission will depend on what other projects or commitments I have on at the time, so get in touch early if you’ve got an upcoming deadline.

When we have agreed a commission, I’ll request a deposit of between 30-50% of the work is paid before I start (depending on the size). I can also send you photos when the painting is almost complete, in case you want to request any final edits.
